Impermanent Loss Protection
Update: Impermanent Loss Protection (ILP) has been Completely deprecated on thorchain,
Mayachain still offers ILP , (1% a day). ILP on Mayachain starts on the 50th day of entering the pool.
If ASSET outperforms CACAO, full coverage is after 150 days (50 days after initial deposit + 100 days in LP).
If CACAO outperforms ASSET, full coverage is after 450 days (50 days after initial deposit + 400 days in LP). i.e if you enter the pool 1000$ worth of asset and cacao. you would at bare minimum would be able to withdraw 1000$ worth of asset and cacao after 150 days, regardless of pool performance and price action of the assets.(if price action of asset outperforms cacao).
