# TGT token

## **What is TGT? (THORWallet Governance Token)**

TGT is THORWallet's utility token. As a token holder, you can unlock special features such as lower trading fees and participate in the governance process.

### **Multi-Utility Token**

$TGT serves multiple purposes. 50% of the revenue from THORWallet will be used to burn $TGT, reducing its supply and increasing its value.

### **Staking $TGT**

Staking $TGT provides premium benefits within THORWallet, such as free trading (no affiliate fees), the ability to set limit orders, access to multi-wallet options, and more. Additionally, $TGT functions as a governance token, granting you the right to vote on referendums to shape the future of the app.

### **Node Operation**

If our treasury reaches a sufficient size, we plan to run a full THORChain node in Switzerland to further decentralize and strengthen the ecosystem. A portion of the net profits from this operation will be used to burn $TGT.

### **Community Programs & Gamification**

Through gamified missions, we aim to help you stay on top of your finances with token incentives while also fostering community growth.
