# TGT token

Utility token

## **What is TGT? (THORWallet Governance Token)**

TGT is THORWallet's utility token. As a token holder, you can unlock special features such as lower trading fees and participate in the governance process.

<figure><img src="/files/Qr9NM7jGe3AofTFFGO1u" alt=""><figcaption><p>TGT functionalities</p></figcaption></figure>

### **Multi-Utility Token**

$TGT serves multiple purposes. 50% of the revenue from THORWallet will be used to burn $TGT, reducing its supply and increasing its value.

### **Staking $TGT**

Staking $TGT provides premium benefits within THORWallet, such as free trading (no affiliate fees), the ability to set limit orders, access to multi-wallet options, and more. Additionally, $TGT functions as a governance token, granting you the right to vote on referendums to shape the future of the app.

### **Node Operation**

If our treasury reaches a sufficient size, we plan to run a full THORChain node in Switzerland to further decentralize and strengthen the ecosystem. A portion of the net profits from this operation will be used to burn $TGT.

### **Community Programs & Gamification**

Through gamified missions, we aim to help you stay on top of your finances with token incentives while also fostering community growth.

## $TITN — Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

### 🔄 What is happening to $TGT?

THORWallet is merging **$TGT → $TITN** to launch a new, utility token aligned with our product and long-term growth. The merge began **July 25, 2025**.&#x20;

### 📈 Why did THORWallet create $TITN?

$TITN lets THORWallet relaunch in a stronger market, pursue CEX/DEX listings, and ship upgraded, sustainable tokenomics shaped by lessons from $TGT.&#x20;

### 🧮 What’s the merge ratio from $TGT → $TITN?

* **First 3 months (until Oct 25, 2025):** **2.66 TGT = 1 TITN** (fixed).
* **Months 4–12:** ratio **decreases linearly to 0** by **July 25, 2026**.

### ⏳ What are my options when I merge?

You have **two** paths in the web app:

1. **Merge, Withdraw & Stake:** Swap TGT→TITN on **Arbitrum**, bridge TITN → **Base**, then **stake** on Base for **USDC rewards**.
2. **Merge, Stay & Receive Extra Allocation:** Leave your TITN in the **merge contract** up to 12 months to earn a share of **unclaimed TITN** (you can exit anytime; leaving early forfeits the extra).&#x20;

### 🛠️ What chains are involved?

* **TGT** currently lives on **Ethereum** and **Arbitrum**, but you must **bridge TGT to Arbitrum** to merge.
* **TITN** is **multi-chain**; after merging on Arbitrum, you **bridge TITN to Base** to stake.&#x20;

### 💰 What rewards do TITN stakers get?

Currently, **TITN stakers earn USDC cashback** sourced from THORWallet’s protocol revenue. At present, **50% of the revenue** is distributed to stakers. Once $TITN becomes **tradable on exchanges**, this share will **increase to 70%**

### 🧭 Step-by-step: How do I merge via the web app?

&#x20;follow the official guide in [here.](https://thorwallet.medium.com/thorwallets-migration-to-titn-505b7ff96fd3)

### 🧠 What is the “extra allocation” if I stay in the merge contract?

At the end of 12 months, **unclaimed TITN** in the contract is distributed **pro-rata** to addresses that **stayed for the full period** (partial withdrawals are allowed, but only the portion that stayed full-term qualifies; exiting early forfeits the bonus for the exited amount).&#x20;

### 🪙 Do I need to unstake old TGT first?

* **TGT staking on Arbitrum has been discontinued.**\
  Please **withdraw your TGT** and merge it into **$TITN**. After merging, you can stake TITN on **Base** to start earning **USDC cashback rewards**. This process can be done seamlessly from both the **web app** and **mobile app**.&#x20;
* If you still have **TGT staked on Ethereum (V1 contract)**, you can **withdraw it directly from** [**here.**](https://app.thorwallet.org/withdraw-tgt-eth)

# Swaps

Get an overview of the Swaps feature in THORWallet. Learn how to exchange assets across different blockchains seamlessly and efficiently.

THORWallet enables you to swap crypto assets easily — across different chains, ecosystems, and wallets — with **no bridges, no wrapping**, and **no technical complexity**.

Whether you're swapping Bitcoin for Ethereum, moving stablecoins between EVM chains, or trading tokens on Solana — **THORWallet handles all the routing and execution in the background**. No bridges. No wrapping. No stress.

#### ⚙️ How It Works

THORWallet integrates multiple swap routes to give you **the best price and experience**, depending on what you're swapping:

### 💡 What Makes THORWallet Swaps Unique?

* **Cross-chain & cross-ecosystem support**\
  Swap across BTC, Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Polygon, and more.
* **Route-agnostic execution**\
  THORWallet selects the **best route for you** automatically based on price, fees, speed, and asset support.
* **Self-custody, always**\
  You stay in control of your funds at all times — no third parties or custodial risks.
* **No wrapping, no bridging**\
  Swap native assets directly without needing to wrap tokens or use risky bridges.
* **Gasless swaps (for select assets)**\
  Thanks to Unizen integration, some EVM swaps can be **fully gasless**, making them faster and cheaper.

### 🔎 Swap Types You Can Perform

| Swap Type                  | Description                                     | Example                                       |
| -------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| **Cross-Chain Swaps**      | Native-to-native asset swaps across blockchains | BTC → ETH, ATOM → AVAX                        |
| **EVM-to-EVM Cross Swaps** | Move tokens between different EVM networks | USDC (BNB) → ETH (Arbitrum) |
| **Same-Chain Swaps** | Swap tokens within the same blockchain | ETH → USDC (Ethereum), MATIC → AAVE (Polygon) |
| **Solana Swaps** | Swap SPL tokens on Solana | SOL → RAY |

### ✅ No Need to Choose a Route

You don’t need to manually select a route like THORChain or Unizen — **THORWallet DEX automatically picks the most efficient one** based on:

* Best price
* Lowest fees
* Asset availability
* Fastest execution

# FAQ's Swaps

#### 1. **How Long Does It Take For A Swap To Execute?**<br>

Swaps typically take a **few minutes** to complete. However, larger swap amounts or **network congestion** may lead to **delays** in processing.

Thorwallet supports **multiple swap routes**. When you tap on the **“Routes” or “Paths”** option before confirming the swap, you can:

* See the **estimated time** for each swap route
* Understand which route is being used (e.g., streaming vs. standard)
* Choose an alternate route if available

> ⏱ The **estimated completion time** for the selected route is also shown on the **swap preview** screen.

<div><figure><img src="/files/mJ91NA5ti1pW2QLyPxla" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/dnZpDsiqhtYjCY8jD6QF" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### &#x20;2. **What Is Slippage Tolerance?**

Imagine you’re making a swap: you select the assets and amount, then confirm the transaction at 12:00. However, there is a delay, and the transaction is executed at 12:01. During this time, the price of the assets can fluctuate significantly, which is where slippage tolerance becomes important.

Slippage tolerance allows you to set a maximum price difference you’re willing to accept for the transaction. If the price changes more than your set tolerance, the transaction will not be completed and will be reversed.

Our app includes an automatic slippage function, but you can customize your slippage tolerance by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner (see screenshots below).

<div><figure><img src="/files/e7ZT2CjdbF1vvYcZA5AI" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/8FQkyNwzDYYn7zJaPsl9" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### 3. What Are Swapping Fees?

When you swap assets in THORWallet, several types of fees may apply. These can vary depending on the **swap route** used and the **assets involved**.

**💸 Types of Fees You May Encounter:**

* **Network/Transaction Fees:**\
  These are paid to the blockchain networks and can fluctuate depending on traffic and the chain being used.
* **Swap Route Fees:**\
  Each route has its own fee structure, which may include trading, liquidity, or relayer fees. The total cost depends on the route selected for your specific swap.
* **Affiliate / Platform Fee:**\
  A small fee may be applied by THORWallet DEX based on your **community tier or NFT status**, typically ranging from **0% to 1%**

**🔍 How Are Fees Displayed?**

Before you confirm a swap, THORWallet:

* Automatically selects the **most efficient route** available.
* Shows you a **breakdown of all estimated fees**.
* Allows you to review and compare options when multiple routes are available.

<div><figure><img src="/files/Posz0hmgR4H1TI5earAP" alt="" width="188"><figcaption><p>selected route by the app <br>can click on it to check the <br>alternatives.</p></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/2pwnDjadI5CGlhkLtNM0" alt="" width="188"><figcaption><p>compare alternatives</p></figcaption></figure></div>

<div><figure><img src="/files/4xIkt3Dcly3rmApGsLyF" alt="" width="188"><figcaption><p>In the swap preview page click<br>on the <strong>fee total</strong> to get the<br>breakdown</p></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/IvdhkmDdv70PnaTgVZ2a" alt="" width="188"><figcaption><p>fee breakdown</p></figcaption></figure></div>

# Streaming Swaps

Streaming Swaps break a swap into smaller parts for execution, making large trades more viable.

If you're making a **larger swap**, Thorwallet will automatically choose the **best route** to maximize your output

* For large swaps, the app may automatically use a **streaming swap**, which helps reduce slippage and improve results.
* You can tap on the **“Routes” or “Paths”** option to:
  * View details about the selected route
  * Compare alternative paths
  * Manually switch routes based on your preference

> 💡 By default, the app picks the most efficient route for your swap.

By using Streaming Swaps, users will incur very low slippage fees for larger swaps, though the process may be time-consuming. Depending on the swap size and selected parameters (e.g., number of sub-swaps, block swap interval), it could take a few hours for the swap to complete.

Example of a streaming swap:

<div><figure><img src="/files/qClX8fH6uiW1KnJETv8c" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/hwzjO340khrJRlKyDojR" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

# Vaults

Vaults in THORWallet are a new standard of **multi-signature** wallets created by[ Vultisig](https://docs.vultisig.com/), integrated into Thorwallet for enhanced security. There are two types of vaults: **Hot Vaults** and **Cold Vaults**. These vaults offer advanced protection by requiring multiple signatures to authorize transactions

> ### **How do Hot Vaults work?**
>
> In a Hot Vault, you have two vault shares:
>
> * User-side share: Stored on your device.
> * Server-side share: Stored on the server (sent to you via email as backup).
>
> When using Fast Sign in Hot Vaults, your device signs the transaction (user-side share), and the server automatically signs it (server-side share). If the server is offline, you can import the server-side share (sent via email) onto another device and perform a paired sign to complete the transaction

***

### Hot Vault Creation Guide

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/PaPvnqB8rfw>" %}

{% hint style="danger" %}
**All backup files of each device should be stored in separate locations to protect your assets. This ensures that even if one location is compromised, your assets remain secure!**
{% endhint %}

# Cold Vaults

> Cold Vaults are server-independent and utilize a m of n signing rule, which means you can configure multiple devices for the vault (e.g., 3 devices). In this case, at least 2 devices must sign the transaction before it can be broadcast. Each device has its own unique vault share, which should be stored securely in separate locations.
>
> The vaults will be a m-of-n threshold, where m is at least 2/3rds of n, and no maximum number of n devices. The more devices you use, the longer it will take to process any transactions.

{% hint style="success" %}
**You can add as many devices as you want when setting up a Cold Vault. For example, if you set up the vault with 3 devices, 2 out of 3 devices (67% threshold) will be required to sign the transaction before it can be broadcasted.**
{% endhint %}

# Liquidity pooling

Learn about liquidity pooling in THORWallet. Understand how to provide liquidity and earn rewards.

A liquidity provider is a stakeholder that provides liquidity (a liquidity pair) into a pool that is needed to run a decentralized exchange. He gets rewarded with a share of the trading fees generated with that pool which is reflected in the APR. At THORChain a liquidity provider has two options for how to provide liquidity: symmetrical or asymmetrical. \
‍\
Symmetrical means 50% Rune and 50% the asset you've chosen. Asymmetrical means 100% in your chosen asset. It is important to note that if you provide liquidity asymmetrical, a swap is pursued in the back, which leads to a symmetrical allocation anyway. \
‍\
This means a liquidity provider is always exposed to two assets: Rune and your chosen asset. The APR is earned on both of those assets and auto-compounded in the pool.

{% hint style="info" %}
Mayachain also follows the same mechanics as Thorchain for liquidity pooling.\
Instead of Rune, Asset is paired with [CACAO](https://www.mayaprotocol.com/).
{% endhint %}

# Risks associated with LP

Understanding the risks associated with Pooling assets on THORChain/Mayachain pools.

When providing liquidity on either THORChain or MayaChain, it's important to understand the associated risks:

1. **Liquidity Pooling Risks**: On both THORChain and MayaChain, your deposit is balanced into a 50:50 ratio (RUNE or CACAO). This means you’re exposed to the price action of both assets in the pool, which carries the risk of impermanent loss.
2. **Impermanent Loss**: This occurs when the price ratio between the two assets changes, affecting your overall return. If the price ratio of (RUNE) decreases, liquidity providers (LPs) might face negative APR, leading to losses. Conversely, if the ratio increases, LPs could see higher profits.
3. **Leverage Risk**: Due to synthetic assets on THORChain, your liquidity position is leveraged based on the price ratio of (RUNE). This leverage can amplify both gains and losses.
4. **Security Risks**: While THORChain implements numerous security measures to minimize hacking risks, no protocol is entirely immune to security threats.

For more information about liquidity pooling, check out these resources:

* [Understanding THORChain Liquidity Providers](https://docs.thorchain.org/understanding-thorchain/roles/liquidity-providers)
* [Being a Liquidity Provider on THORChain](https://crypto-university.medium.com/thorchain-being-a-liquidity-provider-81522a1a673c)
* [Price Exposure vs. Impermanent Loss in Asymmetrical LPing](https://crypto-university.medium.com/distinguishing-between-price-exposure-and-impermanent-loss-in-asymmetrical-lping-f3fcd0e84887)
* [Under the Hood: Liquidity Pool APR](https://crypto-university.medium.com/under-the-hood-liquidity-pool-apr-3e5e662e6675)

{% hint style="info" %}
Impermanent Loss Protection (ILP) has been completely deprecated on THORChain. However, MayaChain still offers ILP and does not use synthetic assets.
{% endhint %}

### Impermanet Loss&#x20;

Impermanent loss (IL) happens when you [provide liquidity to a liquidity pool](/how-to-guides/how-to-provide-liquidity), and the price of your deposited assets changes compared to when you deposited them. The bigger this change is, the more you are exposed to impermanent loss. In this case, the loss means less dollar value at the time of withdrawal than at the time of deposit.

# Impermanent Loss Protection

Impermanent loss protection(ILP) designed to counter Impermanent loss while pooling assets.

{% hint style="warning" %}
&#x20;Impermanent Loss Protection (ILP) has been completely deprecated on THORChain. However, MayaChain continues to offer ILP at a rate of 1% per day.
{% endhint %}

**ILP on MayaChain**:

* **ILP** coverage begins on the 50th day after entering the pool.
* **If ASSET outperforms CACAO**, full ILP coverage is achieved after 150 days (50 days from the initial deposit plus 100 days in the pool).
* **If CACAO outperforms ASSET**, full ILP coverage is achieved after 450 days (50 days from the initial deposit plus 400 days in the pool).

For example, if you deposit $1,000 worth of ASSET and CACAO into the pool, you will be able to withdraw at least $1,000 worth of ASSET and CACAO after 150 days, regardless of the pool's performance or the price action of the assets (assuming ASSET outperforms CACAO).

{% hint style="info" %}
For more details on ILP on MayaChain, check out this resource: [Impermanent Loss Protection (ILP) on MayaChain](https://docs.mayaprotocol.com/deep-dive/how-it-works/impermanent-loss-protection-ilp)

🧬 **RUJI Liquid Staking**&#x20;

Rujira Network is an **App Layer** built on THORChain, distributing **real, protocol-generated revenue** to **RUJI stakers**.

THORWallet integrates Rujira’s **auto-compound strategy**, which automatically restakes earned rewards and issues **sRUJI** — a **liquid staking derivative (LSD)** that represents your continuously compounding staked position.

🌊 **SUI Liquid Staking**&#x20;

**Aftermath Finance** enables SUI holders to earn staking rewards **while keeping their tokens usable across DeFi** through **`afSUI`**, a fully decentralized liquid staking derivative built after the adoption of **SIP-6** on the Sui network. learn more [here.](https://docs.aftermath.finance/liquid-staking/afsui)

* When staking via Aftermath, users **delegate to any validator of their choice** — preserving decentralization.
* The protocol mints **`afSUI`**, a 1-to-1 liquid representation of staked SUI at the current exchange rate.
* Each 24-hour **Epoch** updates the `afSUI ↔ SUI` exchange rate as rewards compound.
* Upon unstaking, users receive their **principal + accrued rewards.**

💵 **USDC & XLM — Lending (via Blend on Stellar)**

**Blend** is Stellar’s native lending market connecting lenders and borrowers through smart-contract pools. THORWallet integrates Blend directly, allowing users to earn passive income without leaving the app.

# Perps

Perpetuals Trading Powered by dYdX

<figure><img src="/files/y5eUD9EKo9plMPL7gcaI" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Perpetuals** (often called **Perps**) are derivative instruments that mirror the price of real assets — allowing users to **go long or short** with **leverage** on the price movement of an asset. While leverage amplifies potential gains, it also increases risk.

To bring decentralized perpetual trading directly to its users, **THORWallet** has partnered with **dYdX**, one of the leading decentralized perpetual protocols in the industry.

#### 💼 What Are Perpetual Contracts?

Unlike traditional futures, **perpetual contracts have no expiry date**. This means traders can hold positions for as long as they wish, adjusting leverage or closing trades anytime.\
They are ideal for:

* **Speculative trading** on price movements
* **Hedging** existing crypto portfolios
* **Executing advanced strategies** without spot exposure

#### 🚀 Perpetual Trading in THORWallet

Through this integration, THORWallet users can now access **perpetual markets** directly from the app — without giving up **self-custody** or switching platforms.

**Key Highlights:**

* 🔗 **Seamless access** to perpetual trading inside the THORWallet app
* ⚡ **Deep liquidity & ultra-fast execution** powered by dYdX’s decentralized infrastructure
* 🔒 **Full self-custody** — users maintain control of their funds at all times
* 🌐 **200+ perpetual markets** across leading crypto assets
* 🔁 **Cross-chain convenience** — trade from the same wallet that supports BTC, ETH, SOL, and more

{% hint style="warning" %}
Perpetuals trading is available in select regions and subject to local regulations.

Perpetuals trading involves significant risk. Conduct your own research and exercise proper risk management.

# Raffle Game

<figure><img src="/files/lCPgVpdLsH3bUsrglcfv" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

We have introduced a new gamification feature designed to make using the wallet more fun, rewarding, and community-driven. With this new addition, our users can join fun, fair, and engaging raffles for a chance to win a share of the prize pool — simply by staying active on THORWallet.

Active THORWallet users can participate **at no cost**, turning regular wallet usage into an opportunity to earn rewards.

### 👾 The Game <a href="#id-94a4" id="id-94a4"></a>

A new raffle is held every **two weeks**. At the end of each cycle, winners from the previous raffle are announced before the next one begins.

The prize pot starts in **USDC** (base) and is not random — it’s a share of fees generated by THORWallet. The more activity on the platform, the bigger the pool grows.

USDC is just the beginning. Once $TITN completes its TGE, the whole game will be powered by TITN. ⚡️

Each raffle has **ten winners**, with rewards distributed as follows:

**1st place — 40% of the pot**

**2nd place — 25%**

**3rd place — 15%**

**4th place — 7%**

**5th place — 3%**

**6th — 10th place — 2% each**

After the **TGE of Titan ($TITN)**, the prize pool will be paid entirely in TITN instead of USDC — adding another layer of utility to the token. Similarly, the **in-game shop currency** will also shift to TITN post-TGE.

### 🙋‍♂️ **Participation**

Users can join raffles by collecting **tickets**, which are earned via the **spin wheel** — a central part of the game.

* **Daily free spin** for all users.
* Additional spins can be purchased in the shop using **sparks**.

**Sparks** ⚡ can be earned through:

* Completing daily and weekly tasks.
* Playing the mini tap game (available every 2 hours, rewarding 3 sparks per session, enough for 1 spin).
* More games will be added as we go

### 🛒 The Shop <a href="#id-7f58" id="id-7f58"></a>

The shop is where users can **boost their chances** of winning by enabling items that enhance ticket earnings and raffle participation.

Items include:

* 📦 **Mystery Boxes** (Silver & Gold) — Contain random rewards like free spins, sparks, or spin multipliers. All users get one Silver Box at the start; **Community+** members get both types monthly.
* 🎫 **Golden Ticket** — Doubles the number of tickets a user sends into a raffle (1 max at a time).
* 🧪 **Boosters** — Double sparks earned from quests or mini games (valid for 24 hours, 2 max at a time).
* 🔢 **Spin Multipliers** — Multiply tickets earned from spins (stackable twice, valid for 24 hours).
* ⚡ **Sparks** — Can also be purchased directly to buy more spins.

\
Purchases currently use **Cacao** and **Rune** tokens. Once TITN is tradable, **all store purchases will be in TITN**, giving the token even more utility.<br>

#### 🎲 The Degen Game&#x20;

**Degen Game**, where you can **select any number of tickets you hold** and **test your fortune**. If luck is on your side, you’ll **win double your tickets**. Simple, fast, and fun. The Degen Game adds an extra thrill for those who love a quick challenge.

{% hint style="success" %}
Purchased items must be **activated** from your inventory to be used.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
***Disclaimer***

*This feature is designed for entertainment and community engagement only. No purchase is required to participate, and no real-money gambling takes place. USDC payouts are limited to a temporary testing phase. Once our utility token $TITN is fully launched, all rewards will be paid in $TITN. The system is not operated for profit and does not generate direct revenue. THORWallet reserves the right to modify, suspend, or change any part of the game, rules, or rewards at any time. # TCY

Learn about Thorhain's Yield token.

TCY stands for **THORChain Yield** a new token introduced on the THORChain network as part of a recovery plan following issues in [early 2025. ](https://medium.com/thorchain/thorfi-unwind-96b46dff72c0)

In simple terms, TCY is an **equity-like token** that gives holders a share of THORChain’s future revenues. It was created specifically to address the collapse of THORChain’s ThorFi services [(Lending and Savers vault ](https://medium.com/thorchain/tcy-launch-d48bb63cfc4e)) that occurred in January 2025.&#x20;

Instead of a one-time payout, TCY converts the debt owed to users into a token that **earns yield from the network over time**, **ten percent** of all THORChain system income (fees and block rewards) is allocated to TCY holders as yield.

#### Claiming

If you had funds in THORChain’s Savers vaults, an active ThorFi loan, or held THORChain synthetic assets when the system was halted in January 2025, **you are likely eligible to claim TCY .**&#x54;CY is **not automatically airdropped** to you, it must be claimed manually , there is no timeframe for TCY claiming.

If you are eligible to claim TCY , a banner would pop-up on your home screen (similar to the below).

Follow the flow of the Interface after tapping on the banner to claim the TCY.

{% hint style="warning" %}
TCY is automatically staked at Claim , go to the earn tab to view your position&#x20;

# FAQ's

FAQ's answered regarding THORWallet.

### 1. What Is A Seed Phrase?

A seed phrase is a string of 12 to 24 words generated by a crypto wallet that allows you to restore access to your funds.

{% hint style="info" %}
Also known as a mnemonic phrase, it serves as a security measure for self-custodied digital assets
{% endhint %}

### 2. Does THORWallet DEX know or store my seed phrase?

**No.** THORWallet is a non-custodial wallet, meaning your seed phrase is generated and stored locally on your device. THORWallet has no access to your seed phrase or private keys. If you lose your seed phrase, **we cannot help recover your funds**.

### 3. Is my THORWallet Army NFT activated in the app?&#x20;

Simply transfer your THORWallet NFT to your main ethereum address. It will be automatically detected. You can see that your NFT is activated by clicking on "NFT" option on the home screen.

### 4. Does THORWallet DEX own my coins?

THORWallet DEX is a non-custodial wallet, meaning you have full control over your own funds. Your coins are stored with you, so it's crucial to keep your wallet’s seed phrase in a safe place.&#x20;

{% hint style="danger" %}
We do not have access to your seed phrase and cannot assist if it is lost.
{% endhint %}

### **5. What are EVM's?**&#x20;

EVM stands for Ethereum Virtual Machine, a software environment that executes smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain.

EVM compatibility means that a blockchain can support the EVM, enabling it to run Ethereum smart contracts. This allows developers to write and deploy the same smart contracts across multiple EVM-compatible blockchains without needing to make major changes to their code.

BSC, AVALANCHE, FANTOM, and ARBITRUM are examples of EVM-compatible blockchains.

{% hint style="info" %}
All EVM-compatible blockchains use the same address format
{% endhint %}

### 6. Can I use THORWallet anywhere in the world?

### 7. What happens if I lose access to my device?

### 10. Can I connect THORWallet to DeFi platforms?

Yes, THORWallet supports WalletConnect, allowing you to seamlessly connect and interact with various DeFi protocols directly from the app. However, in many cases, this isn't even necessary—THORWallet brings the best of DeFi directly to you, with built-in swaps, lending, staking, and more, all in one powerful superapp.

### 11. What are community tiers?

THORWallet Community Tiers are membership levels based on the amount of $TITN staked by holding a THORWallet Army NFT. The more $TITN you stake, the higher your tier, unlocking exclusive benefits within the ecosystem.

**Key Benefits of Community Tiers:**

* Lower transaction fees for higher-tier users.
* Access to premium features within THORWallet.
* Increased rewards for completing missions.

### 12. What blockchains does THORWallet support?

THORWallet supports multiple major blockchains, including

* Bitcoin (BTC)
* Ethereum (ETH) & ERC-20 tokens
* Binance Smart Chain (BSC) & BEP-20 tokens
* Solana (SOL) & SPL tokens
* SUI
* THORChain (RUNE)
* Dogecoin (DOGE)
* Cosmos (ATOM)
* Base
* Maya
* Arbitrum
* Avalanche
* Bitcoin Cash
* Litecoin
* Dash
* Kujira
* Stellar Lumens (XLM)

### 12. Are there any fees for adding or withdrawing liquidity?

Yes, mainly there are **network fees** and **affiliate fee.**

* **Add Liquidity:**<br>

  You’ll pay **network gas fees** (e.g., ETH, BTC, etc.) when transferring your asset into the pool.

  * An **affiliate fee** is also taken from the **deposited asset** itself.

  * For **Layer 1 assets** (like BTC, ETH, BNB), the network fee is paid using the **same asset**.

  * For **tokens** (e.g., ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum), you’ll need to have **native ETH** in your wallet to cover the gas fees.

  > 💡 Make sure you have a small amount of the native token on each network to successfully complete liquidity actions.
* **Withdraw Liquidity:**

  You’ll also pay **network fees** when **withdrawing** your assets from the pool — just like when adding liquidity.

  * The **same logic applies**:
    * **Layer 1 assets** pay the fee in the asset itself.
    * **Tokens** require the native gas token (e.g., ETH for ERC-20 tokens).
  * ✅ **No affiliate fee** is charged during withdrawals.

> 🔁 Always ensure you have enough native gas tokens to cover withdrawal fees.

### 13. How can I contact THORWallet customer support?

Users can contact THORWallet customer support through our Discord server. The server link is available in the in-app menu for easy access.

# Getting Started Guide

### How to Set Up Your Wallet on THORWallet DEX

If you haven't installed the app yet, check our [How to install THORWallet DEX](/how-to-guides/how-to-install-thorwallet-dex)

#### Step 1: Security Check

When you open the app for the first time, you'll be greeted with a **Security Check**. This process runs every time the app is opened to ensure that [THORChain’s](https://www.thorchain.com) third-party services are functioning correctly. After the Security Check is complete, you’ll see the following screen:

* Click **"Get Started."**
* Review and accept the Terms of Service (TOS).
* Click **"Continue."**

<div><figure><img src="/files/HsotM278cpIWT7oDF1Nr" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/KrVDeI3d3pdYRnxyeavY" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### &#x20;Step 2: Set Up Your Password

* Next, you'll need to set up a password. You have two options:

  * **PIN** or
  * **Alphanumeric password.**

  This password will be required each time you open the app and will be used to authenticate transactions.

<div><figure><img src="/files/E08EBVvNYhu5kPua2MTs" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/iTVNODWQUXPx5MTN1oLe" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### Step 3: Create or Import a Wallet

On the following screen, you'll have the option to either:

* **Create a new wallet** or
* **Import an existing wallet** (using a seed phrase from another Web3 wallet like MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.).

For this guide, we’ll create a new wallet:

1. Click **"Create Wallet."**

<figure><img src="/files/cGvLOIbvfyPfemvHGn8z" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 4: Backup Your Seed Phrase

The app will generate a **seed phrase** for your wallet. This phrase is crucial because it is used to recover your wallet if you uninstall the app or need to import it into another Web3 wallet.

**Important:**

* Your seed phrase is what protects your funds.
* **Never** share it with anyone, either online or offline, and do not display it in front of a camera.
* Store it in a secure location, such as on paper or a flash drive.

<div><figure><img src="/files/jrvS7Nlne8C78gxJtmZ4" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/peUKRy2WaxLklqin3ioe" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### Step 5: Enter Referral Code (Optional)

After backing up your seed phrase, the app will ask for a **Referral Code**. If you have one, you can enter it here, or find one here. You can also skip this step and proceed without a code.

<figure><img src="/files/sKyu6zuictmt8PuZt8mF" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 6: Enable Biometrics (Optional)

You will be prompted to set up biometric authentication (e.g., fingerprint or face recognition). You can choose to enable or disable this feature based on your preference.

<figure><img src="/files/4IySAxM8b0bPwoLAGekw" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 7: Finalize Setup

That’s it! Once you click **"Get Started"** on the next page, your wallet is created and fully functional.

From here, you can explore the app’s features, including:

* **Swaps**
* **Receiving & Sending funds**
* **Providing Liquidity**

# How to verify a token contract?

One of the key security features we've implemented is the ability to quickly verify a token's contract. Here’s how to do it step-by-step.

#### 1. Verifying the Token

To verify a token’s contract address:

1. **Go to the asset page** of the token you want to verify.
2. **Copy the contract address** shown on the screen.
3. Tap **"Explore"** on the same page.
4. **Paste the contract address** into the block explorer to view full contract details.

📌 In this example, **KISHU** is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum — so tapping "Explore" opens **Etherscan** automatically.

<div><figure><img src="/files/TTPDMkCm9I2evXAYn1hO" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/GMqnj5ETWewRbwCqQ3wR" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### 3. Navigating EtherScan

* On the EtherScan page, locate and click the blue token name in the **Token Tracker** window (highlighted in a red rectangle in the image below).

<figure><img src="/files/efGZhjiMEeVqbWmrkN60" alt=""><figcaption><p>Token's contract page on EtherScan</p></figcaption></figure>

#### 4. Checking the Token Overview

This will take you to the **Token Overview** page, where you can verify that you are dealing with the correct token, not an imposter. Here’s what to look for:

* **Number of Token Holders**: Check the left side (red rectangle) to see the number of token holders. A legitimate token usually has a large and diversified number of holders.
* **Profile Summary**: Check the right side (red rectangle) for the token’s contract address, website link, and social media profiles. This is crucial to ensure you're interacting with the correct token.

<figure><img src="/files/drXyLbCStpv47Jcpe7Lt" alt=""><figcaption><p>Token overview page on EtherScan</p></figcaption></figure>

#### 5. Inspecting the "Holders" Tab

Clicking on the **"Holders"** tab in the table reveals additional insights:

* Be cautious if most of the token supply is concentrated in a few addresses. While this alone doesn’t prove a token is fake, **a high concentration (90% or more)** in very few addresses is a potential red flag.

<figure><img src="/files/WZYYAOYbuuFAwbRJaTpn" alt=""><figcaption><p>Token Holders tab on EtherScan</p></figcaption></figure>

#### 6. Additional Verification Tips

For some well-known tokens, EtherScan may already show a **verified check mark** in the profile summary. While this is a good sign, it’s still important to verify further.

<figure><img src="/files/pHx5l36VBARz1Udjasoq" alt=""><figcaption><p>USDC Verification Mark</p></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="/files/51HQ03BATbJjQnh8kfoi" alt=""><figcaption><p>USDT Verification Mark</p></figcaption></figure>

\
Make sure the contract address matches the one listed on trusted platforms like [**CoinGecko**](https://www.coingecko.com) or [**CoinMarketCap**](https://coinmarketcap.com). Verifying the contract address ensures you’re interacting with the real token, not an imposter.

<figure><img src="/files/nV3ZJ4bfas7yMYfU0hIU" alt=""><figcaption><p>Contract address on CoinMarketCap </p></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="success" %}
By following these steps, you can confidently verify that you’re handling the legitimate token and not a fraudulent one.
{% endhint %}

# How to Withdraw Liquidity?

Withdrawing liquidity from a pool is simple. Follow these steps to remove your assets:

### 1. Navigate to Your Liquidity Positions

* Open the app and go to the **Earn** tab.
* Select **Pools** to view all your liquidity positions.

<div><figure><img src="/files/Kpdoj7NRYm9xcIPTKQOJ" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/MHmDuBFWfo8r6zFZ7VqU" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### 2. Select the Pool for Withdrawal

* In the **Pools** page, choose the pool from which you'd like to withdraw assets.
* Select **Withdraw** on the top right

### 3. Choose the Withdrawal Method

* On the Same screen, select your preferred withdrawal method: **Symmetrical** (both assets of the pool) or **Asymmetrical** (a single asset).
  * **Note**: If you made an asymmetrical deposit, you can only withdraw the asset you originally deposited (e.g., if you deposited BTC, you can only withdraw BTC).
  * For **Symmetrical** deposits, you can withdraw both assets in the pool.

<figure><img src="/files/zhkAXVZTUwvuFVhSYIJJ" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="success" %}
In this example, we’re withdrawing **RUNE** from a liquidity pool.\

👉 That’s why the app does **not** show any other withdrawal options.
{% endhint %}

### 4. Set the Withdrawal Amount

* Enter the amount you'd like to withdraw from the pool.
* if you would like to withdraw the whole position click on **max** at the bottom of the screen.

# Savers

**Savers Vaults** offer a streamlined way to provide single-asset liquidity on THORChain. Users can deposit native assets like Bitcoin, earn yield in-kind, and withdraw their principal at any time, all while maintaining full control of their keys.

With Savers Vaults, you’re only exposed to the price action of a single asset. There’s no need for rebalancing or concern about impermanent loss.

Yield is generated from the swap fees and liquidity fees of the specific pool on THORChain. However, be aware that slippage fees apply when entering or withdrawing from Savers Vaults. These fees are based on the size of your deposit or withdrawal relative to the pool's depth.<br>

{% hint style="info" %}
**More Resources on Savers**

* **Video Guide:** [**Understanding THORChain Savers Vaults**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up2-arSzH5k)
  {% endhint %}

### How does Savers work? <a href="#id-31e0" id="id-31e0"></a>

For example, a user enters the Savers Vault with 1 BTC (native).

1. The native BTC is swapped for an equivalent amount of native RUNE
2. Native RUNE is used right away to mint an equivalent amount of Synth BTC
3. The Synth BTC is locked in the Savers Vault and earns yield.

**Once the user decides to leave the pool, the process is as follows:**

1. Synth BTC is removed from the Savers Vault
2. Synth BTC is redeemed for native RUNE
3. Native RUNE is swapped for native BTC and returned to the user

{% hint style="success" %}
**Available Assets on Saver Vaults:**&#x20;

* BTC
* ETH
* BNB (BSC/Beacon Chain)
* ATOM
* DOGE
* LTC
* BCH
* AVAX
* USDC (ERC-20/AVAX)
* USDT (ERC-20)
  {% endhint %}

**Are Saver Vaults risky?**

Of course, there are no free lunches, and Savers Vaults come with their own set of risks. While you’re shielded from traditional CeFi risks, you should be aware of protocol and DeFi risks such as potential bugs, exploits, and governance issues. Additionally, there are specific risks related to the mechanics of Savers Vaults. Chad Barraford, one of THORChain’s core developers, provides an in-depth explanation of these risks here.

# Synthetics

Synthetics are a new functionality of the THORChain network. They are derivatives of other coins and tokens (e.g., BTC or DOGE) and are derived from liquidity pools with no risk of impermanent loss. Another unique feature of Synthetics is that they are always backed by 50% of the original asset and 50% RUNE. Every Synthetic is redeemable at a 1:1 ratio with its underlying native version, and you can mint any Synthetic with any asset, such as minting a DOGE Synthetic with native BTC. For more technical details, you can find them here:

**Resources on Synthetics:**

* [THORChain Synthetic Asset Model](https://docs.thorchain.org/thorchain-finance/synthetic-asset-model)
* [Understanding Synthetic Assets](https://crypto-university.medium.com/synthetic-assets-79df3e3af113)

### Benefits Of Synthetics

1\. Because Synthetics are based on [THORChain](https://www.thorchain.com/), they take over the network fees of [THORChain](https://www.thorchain.com/) which can save you a lot of funds (each transaction costs only 0.02 in $RUNE).\
2\. [THORChain](https://www.thorchain.com/) transactions only take ca. 5 seconds to complete. (there could be a transaction delay)\
3\. Because you mint a Synthetic with only one asset, you are only exposed to the price fluctuation of one asset, thus avoiding the [Impermanent Loss](broken://pages/oy57o3yaprftG7UH07yb).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Important note: Synthetics do NOT earn any APY/APR!**
{% endhint %}

# NFTs

NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) are uniquely identifiable tokens stored on a blockchain, often representing digital files such as photos, videos, or audio. NFTs can be traded on various marketplaces, such as [OpenSea](https://opensea.io/), [LooksRare](https://looksrare.org/), and others.
